Our first demo as “the deadletters.” Hastily recorded in 2002 shortly after
we formed. The hot summer days recording drums in David’s basement will not
be forgotten. The whole thing was put together and mixed using David’s Tascam.
We played these songs at The Cobalt, parties, and bars, pretty much wherever we
could get a gig at the time. We don’t play them anymore. “Diana” is a Paul Anka
cover song. David wrote the lyrics and music to “Cling On” and was also the only
song Nick never played guitar on. Track 3 features Marcus Baide on keys.
